About River Speaks

The thrill of fishing is enhanced by catching a fish on a fly. It's why I launched "River Speaks." I want to take to streams and rivers with my versions of fishing flies - and I want to share those versions with you. May your forays afield be exciting and rewarding, and fill you with the "recharge" nature provides.

I don't sell my flies. I tie them for people that love to fish, and I tie them for charity events. When I'm not tying flies, I'm doing what I love: https://www.createstrat.com.

In 2022, I received the Bronze and Silver Awards from Fly Fishers International for the Art of Fly Tying.

I don't know if there are many people that can fly fish with a German shorthair on their lap, but this is Bruno's favorite spot in the boat.
